The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently visiting the Fernie two Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers towards the community.

SASSA will likely be rendering providers for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency claimed it is alarmed concerning the substantial variety of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The intention from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a significant variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be due to lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no totally functional office committed to service the area on a daily basis. The provider place designed for intervention experiences a significant inflow of probable beneficiaries, which sassa makes it tough for your office to attend to all people who check out a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional methods to empower the servicing of all customers and raise entry to Social Assistance services,” the agency said.
